ACCESS – Pakasangano is accessible by road all year round, a 4WD is not
necessary, but a high clearance vehicle is recommended. From Chirundu there is an 11km gravel road to the bridge across the Kafue River, and thereafter, another 10km of gravel road to pakasangano.

By air, Pakasanagano”s closest airports are Lusaka International, or Royal airstrip, near the Lower Zambezi National Park, or for smaller charter flights, we can use the private airstrip on Chiawa Estates. Some of the scheduled and charter airlines that fly into Lusaka include, South African Airways, Emirates, Ethiopian Airways, Kenya Airways as well as Air Namibia just to mention a few.

CAMPSITE – We offer a beautiful shady camping ground for our budget traveler. Tents are pitched on beautifully manicured lawns in a relaxing cool environment. Ablutions are clean and tidy with hot water. Our pakasangano staff light your camp fires in the evening should you require. Fire wood as well as charcoal are charged as per the prices on the rate sheet and meals are available from the lodge restaurant at the set menu prices, should space be available. The campsite is situated away from the main lodge area. Lodge facilities are not open to campsite guests, unless discussed with management.

HEALTH – We strongly suggest that malaria prophalactics be taken. Please ask your GP (Doctor) before your departure.
Pakasangano is in the fortunate position to be only 21kms from Chirundu with two excellent hospital facilities, Mtendere Mission Hospital and Chirundu Hospital.
